Audition Techniques Class | Six-week Scene Study Intensive | Advanced Scene Study | Master Class Audition Techniques Class: Six week course that focuses on the art of auditioning. The aim of this class is to give actors a process by which to breakdown, prepare and work on audition material quickly and effectively. Students wishing to take the Audition Techniques Class must complete one Six-week scene study intensive prior to enrollment. Six Week Scene Study Intensive: An Intensive six week class focused on playing action. Course will include rehearsal techniques, script analysis, and improv work all in an effort to teach actors to live truthfully moment to moment. Please note: This class is about giving each actor a process for approaching the work that they can then repeat in any situation. At the end of the session, students will either be encouraged to continue working in the six-week format or, those showing exceptional growth, a mastery of the given techniques and a clear process for approaching the work, will be asked to join the Advanced scene study class. The Advanced Scene Study Class: An ongoing session where students work and explore their craft on a weekly basis. Scenes are chosen that will push the student in new directions and worked on until the need to move forward to a new challenge. Students wishing to be considered for Advanced Scene Study must complete one Six-week scene study intensive prior to enrollment.
